A quick, but important note…

As many of you know, I love distance running. But did you know that I love running so much, I started a race production company? I’d like to introduce you to the Southern New England Athletic Association!

Our first race was in 2013. We’ve hosted dozens of races since then – ranging from informal 5k races in a local park, to 130-lap indoor marathons inside the XL Center in Hartford.

The funds from every SNEAA race support an area non-profit or project. In the 3-years since our inception, SNEAA has helped raise over $63,000! This money has gone on to build playgrounds, defray classroom supplies and equipment, and supported cancer research. We even built a cross country course for the high school in Somers, CT!

In an effort to drive the maximum amount of funds to the beneficiaries, the volunteer time and the costs for each race are largely subsidized by Strategic Risk – our insurance agency.
